Mini Golf: what to know before playing

Bring your attention to one round of Mini Golf. Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. Use the example below to understand a decision. Make your first input carefully and watch the result. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.

Three original obstacle courses; wall bounces and friction.

One thing to notice as you play

Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board. Refer to the controls when needed.

Understand the aim

Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Take a moment to understand the current position.

Start here and follow along

  1. Aim a stopped ball.
  2. Set power and putt.
  3. Wait until it stops before another shot.
  4. Use Next hole after sinking.

Your inputs

Touch aim, angle/power sliders and Putt. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Use one clear input at a time.

Put the rules into context

A soft final putt can sink where a fast crossing would not. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Take a moment to compare.

An important reminder

The hole accepts only a sufficiently slow ball. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. Choose one rule to keep in mind for this round. Apply it consistently rather than guessing what another version might allow.
